The Legislative Branch
The Legislative Branch consists of the House of Representatives and the Senate. These houses make up Congress. Congress is given the power to create laws and represent the laws and declare war. Congress also has the power to reject or confirm appointments of the President and is given certain investigative powers. These powers are given to Congress by the Constitution. |
